In case you haven’t noticed, the site looks a little different today. I decided after 3 years to make the move from Movabletype to WordPress. Laura, her family and I are off to the Abergavenny food festival for the weekend. Cheese, wine, meat and mmm..Welsh spirit tasting galore. It’s a two day event, so we’re staying the night at the Bear Hotel just outside Abergavenny, in Crickhowell. I have to say that I wasn’t particularly surprised at some of the facts and figures that the Beeb has published today regarding Petrol duty (aka. Fuel Tax) and the spending of said duty. We all know that there are more cars on the road right now that ever, so therefor there is record amounts of tax being taken by the government from road tax, petrol duty and so on and so forth, but to find that from the £37bn [...]
